Dear Kea class, on the off chance that you might check this over the holidays....
 Just to say thank you again for working so hard this term you really did a great job considering all the comings and goings you have had to endure!

I have updated mathletics with extra work for those that needed it keep practicing. Statistics will be our focus next term.

Key Competencies Reflection

We worked in small groups to try to summarise the key competencies, and what they mean at our level. each different colour represents a different group.

Goodreads - our new favourite website

In Kea class we have discovered an excellent new website called goodreads. We have all joined.  It allows us to review all the books we have ever read, choose books we want to read, read each others book reviews, record which book we are reading and how far we have got, set ourselves a reading challenge for 2012, and so much more.

All you need is an email account and a password to join. Then you find friends ( a bit like facebook)

We have our own class bookclub where we read and discuss reading related topics.

My Rock

My rock is sedimentary because it is sandstone and when you rub it little sediments of sand comes off Also because this sand has been compacted together it is sedimentary and is part of the rock cycle.
